U.S. BBQ Pork-Rib

Ingredients

For the Ribs:

2 racks of pork ribs
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

For the BBQ Sauce:

1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Prepare the Ribs:

1.Marinate the Ribs: In a bowl, mix together minced garlic,fresh thyme leaves, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
2.Rub this mixture all over the ribs, covering them well. Allowthe ribs to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in therefrigerator.
3.Preheat the Grill: Preheat 160°C
4.Grill the Ribs: Place the marinated ribs on the grill. Cook them 160°C for about 2 hours. Turn the ribs occasionally to ensureeven cooking.

Prepare the BBQ Sauce:

1.Mix Ingredients: In a saucepan, combine ketchup, red winevinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, paprika, salt,and pepper.
2.Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
3.Simmer: Let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes,stirring occasionally. It should thicken slightly, and the flavorswill meld together.

Finish the Ribs:

1.Apply BBQ Sauce: During the last 15-20 minutes of grilling, start brushing the ribs with the prepared BBQ sauce.
2.Apply the sauce on both sides and continue cooking until thesauce forms a delicious glaze on the ribs.
3.Serve: Once the ribs are cooked and the BBQ sauce iscaramelized, remove them from the grill. Let them rest for afew minutes before slicing them into individual ribs.

Serve with Sauce:

Serve the French-style BBQ Ribs with additional BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
