Grilled Beef Short ribs with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

- 200g U.S. Short Ribs
- 50g Mixed Mushrooms (finely chopped)
- 30g U.S. Butter
- 20g U.S. Flour
- 100ml Cooking Cream
- 50ml U.S. Beef Stock
- Salt and Pepper
- Oil
Directions
- Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil, and place the short ribs in the hot pan.
- Cook the short ribs on each side for 1 minute or until golden brown.
- Set the short ribs aside and let them rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
- In the same pan, sauté the mushrooms.
- Add the butter to the pan.
- Once the butter has melted, stir in the flour until well mixed.
- Pour in the beef stock and reduce it by half.
- Add the cream to the pan and bring it to a boil.
- Adjust the seasoning, slice the short ribs, and place them on a plate.
- Spoon the mushroom sauce over the short ribs.
