2 large U.S. eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
vegetable oil, for frying

For the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

1.In a bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, and white wine vinegar until well combined.
2.Season the sauce with a pinch of salt and pepper.
3.Taste and adjust the flavors according to your preference.
4.Refrigerate the sauce until ready to serve.

Prepare the Fried Chicken:

1.Preheat your frying oil in a deep skillet or pot to 175°C.
2.Season the chicken breasts or tenders with salt and pepper.
3.Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs.
4.Coat each piece of chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
5.Dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
6.Finally, coat the chicken in breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to adhere.
7.Carefully place the breaded chicken into the preheated oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
8.The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 74°C.
9.Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

1.Slice the fried chicken if desired and arrange it on a serving platter.
2.Serve the French-inspired fried chicken with the honey mustard dipping sauce on the side.
3.This dish pairs well with a fresh green salad, crispy French fries.
