ZESTY BEEF TACO 2.0

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 20g Olive oil       
  • 500g Lean ground beef
  • 6g Chili powder / Paprika             
  • 6g Cumin            
  • 3g Oregano       
  • 2g Cayenne pepper (omit for not spicy) 
  • 3g Garlic powder             
  • 4g Salt  
  • 4g Black pepper
  • 35g Tomato paste           
  • 125g Water       

To serve with:   

  • 1 bag Tortilla chips          
  • 50g Sour cream
  • 100g Guacamole             
  • 60g “Shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese”           
  • 50g Tomatoes (chopped)            
  • 50g Onion (chopped)    
  • 30g Lettuce (Finely chopped)      

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any fat.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper, tomato paste and water.
  3. Combine and cook over medium-low heat until the sauce is thickened.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips, optionally add lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onion, and sour cream and guacamole.
